Re: Information on Coronavirus (COVID-19) Concerts Postponed & Rescheduled
To our Patrons and Supporters
The team here at Ghostfinger Productions are monitoring the Coronavirus (Covid-19) situation across North America. The health and safety of our customers, performers, crew and staff are very important to us. As you are aware, the entertainment industry is taking a huge blow due to this crisis, but are doing what is right to minimize risk to our communities.
Many artists and crew that depend on their shows for their livelihood are in a difficult position as venues are implementing bans and closures for the next month, as well as cross border quarantines that affect travel. With that in mind, we are committed to postponing and rescheduling any of our shows that are affected rather than cancel them. We are working with theatres and our artists to postpone affected events with minimal impact to our customers.
We urge our ticket buyers to support the industry by giving the theatres and promoters time to reschedule and to hold on to their tickets. As you can imagine, theatres are not only dealing with rescheduling just one or two shows, but ALL of their shows that are affected. So it may take us a few days to get everything sorted and then back to business as usual with a new date. Refunds will not be issued at this time as existing seating and tickets will be honoured for the rescheduled dates. Theatres will communicate with ticket holders directly to update them as the new performance dates are confirmed.
We appreciate all of the support we have received this week from our community and we appreciate your patience.
Ghostfinger Productions will be announcing rescheduled dates over the next week on our sites and social media for any affected shows in March and April, so please hold tight and we will update you and our event information accordingly.
Thank you and we hope you and your loved ones are keeping well in these difficult times.
